is trading as The Cube.
The Cube is committed to protecting your privacy
and the privacy of any personal information provided
to us. The Cube complies with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth)
and the National Privacy Principles.
What personal information do you collect?
To enable us to provide our services and products
to you, we need to collect personal information from
you – usually your name, postal address and email
address and contact phone numbers.
We may collect additional personal information about
you when you chose to purchase by credit card –
usually the details required by the card company to
process the transaction. This information is not retained
by us after the transaction has been processed.
How do you collect the personal information?
We collect the information in a variety of
ways - in person, in writing, by telephone, through
our website and by other electronic communication channels.
Why do you need to collect this information
and what do you do with it?
We collect your personal information to be
able to send you goods you have ordered and if you have
consented to advise you of any upcoming product promotions
from the cube.

What if I do not want to provide personal information?
You are not obliged to provide us with your
personal information but we cannot send you goods if
you do not tell us where to send it or have not paid
for them.
To whom do you disclose my personal information?
- We do not disclose your personal information
to others.
- We do not release your personal information to direct
marketers or other websites.
- We do provide your deliver information to a third party
for the purpose of delivering goods to you.
- We do not usually disclose your information to any other
person for any other purpose unless we are authorised
or directed by law to do so or unless you authorise
its release.
- We may be required by law or by an order of a court
or tribunal to disclose your personal information to
others. The Privacy Act also allows us to disclose personal
information about you for purposes relating to public
safety and law enforcement.
Who will see or have access to my personal
information?
Apart from situations permitted by the National
Privacy Principles, your personal information will only
be seen or used: by persons working in or for The Cube;
or organisations who may send products or newsletters
on our behalf. (We only disclose to these organisations
the information they need to carry out the service and
we undertake to seek their undertaking to maintain confidentiality
of your information).
Is my personal information secure?
Our electronic information systems are password
protected to prevent unauthorised access. Our staff
are trained and required to protect the privacy of your
personal information. All service providers will be informed
of the importance we place on protecting your privacy
and their role in helping us to do this and we will
ask them to undertake to maintain the confidentiality
of your personal information. Any use of your personal
information by them will be subject to the Privacy Act
and the Principles.

How long does The Cube keep my personal information?
We keep your information only for as long as
you wish to continue receiving information from us.
Our electronic records are maintained in password protected
systems.
They are maintained so we can send you details of promotions
or services, in which you may be interested. However,
each time we send you something you have the opportunity
to request that no further information be sent to you.
Your personal information will then be deleted from
our records.
What if I want to check what personal information
you hold about me?
Subject to any restrictions in the Privacy
Act or Principles, we will tell you on request what
personal information we hold about you.
There will not be any charge to you where the information
you request can be provided electronically.
There may be some cost involved in providing written
records if the request is complex or requires detailed
searching of our records.
What if I want further information or have a
complaint or concern about the privacy protection of
my personal information by The Cube?

privacy policy or if you have any concerns over the
privacy protection of the information you have given
to us or that we have collected from others, please

Terms & Conditions
of Sale
These Terms & Conditions of Sale apply to The Cube’s
store which caters for purchase via the internet or
mail.
Prices
All prices include Australian Goods & Services Tax
(GST) of 10%. At The Cube, we make every effort to maintain
prices, however factors beyond our control (such as
changes in foreign currency exchange rates, changes
in base material costs etc.) may vary cost and we reserve
the right to amend prices accordingly and without notice.
Product Availability
- New Products – Occasionally,
due to circumstances beyond our control, new products
may be delayed from the time they are posted on the
website. These will be marked with a – Coming
Soon flag - you will be able to order the product before
stock arrives.
- Temporarily Out of Stock – There
may be times where we cannot supply this item. Mostly,
it is only out of stock for a short period of time.
If you want more information on when an item will become
available again, please email stock@thecube.com.au,
include the stock code, and the product description
in the subject line and we will reply with an estimated
time of arrival of the item.
Refunds
We are not obligated under any state law to give you
a refund for functioning goods, because you changed
your mind. We will however replace or repair faulty
goods.
Warranties
The Cube warranty is 3 months from date of purchase,
or such longer period as stated on the product. If The
Cube is identified and notified to us within the warranty
period then we will, at our discretion repair or replace
the product.
The Cube does not accept any liability beyond this for
consequential loss. Warranty is subject to us being
satisfied that a defect was caused by defective workmanship
or materials and was not caused by or was not substantially
contributed to by other factors beyond our control,
including (but not limited to) defective installation,
maintenance, or repair; alterations or modification
of the product in a manner not recommended by the manufacturer;
or any neglect, misuse or excessive use. The original
Sales Docket, Tax Invoice or Cash Receipt, must accompany
a warranty claim.
Freight Charges Relating to Warranty Items
Warranty repairs or replacement of goods is free of
charge.
Mail Order & Internet Purchases
For orders placed over the internet or via the mail
special conditions apply:
- Payment – Via credit card (MasterCard
or Visa) bankcheque or mail order.
- Minimum Order Value – For all
internet order and purchases received via mail, a minimum
order value of $40 applies.
- International Orders – Please
contact the cube if your require orders to be delivered
outside Australia. Note: The Cube cannot accept any
responsibility of liability for the suitability of any
product for use outside Australia and New Zealand, nor
its compliance with local regulations.
- Freight and deliveries – All
products sold by The Cube are shipped via a national
freight provider using an electronic track and trace
system. Delivery will generally take 6-8 business days.
- Out of Stock Items – Items are
back-ordered and you will be advised when delivery is
expected. Payment will only be processed when the goods
are available for immediate despatch.
